Been seeing a lot of AI generated "art" on here lately, I'm really done with it. It's not art. It's an amalgamation of other people's art, thrown in to an algorithm and spit out by a computer. No pencils, pens, brushes, instruments or even a mouse and keyboard implemented in the creation of AI generated images. It should not be celebrated nor endorsed. Much like how the NFT craze was stealing other people's art to be posted and sold by con artists and thieves, so is AI "art". And all of it is so someone with literally no talent or skill can try to charge others for work that is not theirs and was all done by a program. It's another step big companies will want to take in trying to remove artists altogether. Instead of commissioning for pieces like posters, adverts, or even music (you know damn well that's being worked on too) they just buy the program to run whatever works they like through the machine and the get what they want instantly. If you want art, support humans who create their own art. Do no support or even give your attention to anything generated by an AI. There's a difference between a machine helping to smooth out parts you already worked on yourself vs the machine doing all the work, especially with use of art from other artists. Please reject this new trend like we did NFTs. No more grifts! No more theft!
