On the Red Carpet

When I finally got some spending money to buy some art commissions one of the artists I wanted to commission again was and when he offered up some discounted B+W commissions as part of his own Black Friday sale, I was provided a great opportunity. I love how he draws Jessie and his friends. I'm sure manu of you are familiar with this piece:
 
This lovely work of art was the first piece I commissioned to draw for me and it's still of my favorite works featuring Jessie.
The last three (also the first three) works I commissioned from him all featured Jessie with his friend Jenet. This time I wanted to commission some art with one of Jessie's other friends, a lady both he and I are quite fond of, Tasha Polecat.

The idea originally came about when Tasha's owner were talking about dresses and fashion and TC brought up the subject of tight skirted dresses, specifically the style that opens up towards the bottom starting at the knees and goes all the way down to the floor. Forgive me, but the style name escapes me. I found that I really like that dress style and so I was inspired to get a pic of Jessie in such a dress sometime in the future.
After recently seeing a cosplay pic of an elegant take on a female version of Thor, I wanted to put Jessie in a similar dress and I felt this was the right opportunity.
Before that however, I wanted to pair Jessie up with someone and the first person I thought of was Tasha. I knew she and her owner would love the idea of dressing up in a similar dress. I approached TC with the idea and after some emailing and noting of dress ideas, we found the right one for Tasha. This also inspired a follow-up pic, given both Jessie and Tasha's habit of getting tied up. More on that later.

So with Tasha's dress ready and I having settled on a combination of both the cosplay dress and the dress worn by Faye Valentine during her flashback in the episode "My Funny Valentine", as well as throwing in a touch of Jessie's own personal "I wear bondage gear as jewelry" style, I sent the details and her the results of the first of those two pics.

I wanted to have the two look like they are just arriving at a fancy party (an excuse to wear such amazing dresses ) and each having different expressions as they made their entrance. Being bubbly and energetic, Jessie to me had to be more animated and boisterous in his expression and movements. As for Tasha, I've always seen her a being a bit more classy, at least more so than Jessie, so I saw her as being more reserved and observant in this scene. It appears like they both enjoying the party.
Little do they both know that their night is only beginning...
