Looks I have an MLP: FiM OC now. Her name is Jessie Lockheart.
This was a gift to me from a couple who are fans of my character Jessie and wanted to draw him in a MLP form.
They went with colors I was thinking would work best for Jessie, even she kinda looks like Applejack. I decided to make this Jessie an actually female. As much as a gender confused pony might make the already diverse cast even more diverse, I thought I'd keep it simple and just make Jessie a girl this time. She still has a habit of getting tied up a lot. I chalk that up to Jessie being a chatterbox like Pinkie Pie, but while many ponies are more accepting of Pinkie's rantings, Jessie still requires getting used to. Especially the way she blurts out the obvious, has trouble keeping secrets, says what's on her mind when she probably shouldn't, sometimes doesn't have anything relevant to say and has a habit of cursing (even though the worst she ever blurts out is "frick"). Even worse for some ponies is her valley girl accent. No matter how hard she might try when asked to, Jessie can't keep from saying "like" at least once in every sentence.
Jessie is also a little clumsy and can be quite accident prone, causing a fair amount of frustration and damage to ponies and their homes/belongings when she comes to visit. It all eventually leads to a group of ponies grabbing her and tying her up and stuffing a gag in her mouth. It keeps her out of trouble and is much easier on other ponies ears. For awhile though, there was never a gag that seemed good enough to keep her quiet, as Jessie always seemed to gab on even when gagged. Then Applejack inspired a new invention when she stuffed an apple into Jessie's mouth to quiet her down. The other ponies recognized how effective it was until Jessie simply ate through it. After a couple days, Twilight Sparkle found a rubber ball to be more effective as it was inedible. Rarity used her magic to slip a leather strap through the ball and the had created the first and, to date, only ballgag. And somehow at least one pony who's around Jessie when they decided to bind and gag her seems to have the gag ready and available. This actually served to help Jessie earn her cutie mark: the very same gag the ponies use on her.
Aside from the ponies trussing up the socially awkward pony, Jessie also tends to get abducted by some of Equestria's and especially Ponyville's known antagonists, including and a weekend of captivity by Gilda Griffon, Rainbow Dash's former friend who reluctantly came to Jessie's rescue.
Any pony wonders if Jessie will ever learn of if she'll always be so ditzy and a trouble magnet. What many of them don't know is that Jessie secretly likes being tied up, partly because of the attention she gets and because she seems to be more approachable for most ponies when she's bound and gagged making her easier to talk to and befriend.
